What We Do

Provide a safe space to talk, and offer their own stories to help promote understanding and acceptance with in families and communities.

Help to keep families together by offering support through the process of “coming out” to each other and to their communities.

Educate individuals, families and organizations understand the role of family in the lives of API LGBTs.

Provide Resources for parents and families of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender: “Coming Out, Coming Home” video, Beloved Daughter Booklet, Family Honor Roll Booklet, Wall of Pride Exhibit, a website and “Keeping Families Together” Blog.

Through lectures, panel discussions, programs, exhibits and workshops, API Family Pride has brought their message of love and justice throughout the U.S. and to Canada and the Philippines.
